Director of Acquisitions

Leifer Properties is seeking a Director of Acquisitions to source investment opportunities in its core target markets: Austin/Dallas, Nashville, Raleigh, South Florida, and Salt Lake City. Leifer primarily targets off-market value-add infill small bay / light industrial properties and development sites, mixed-use development sites, and special situations. Candidate must be a self starter and have a track record of industrial acquisitions. Leifer's current portfolio consists of small bay industrial, a 10 acre assemblage in the St Elmo neighborhood that was recently entitled, and a ground up 280 condo unit and retail mixed used development on South Congress, and boutique luxury office in CT.

Responsibilities

• Lead market outreach in identifying new acquisition opportunities and creating acquisition pipeline.
• Serves as one of the key points of contact with sales brokers, consultants, attorneys, lenders, GC's and other real estate professionals.
• Help negotiate LOI's, PSA's, Loan Docs, Commission Agreements.
• Working with team to track acquisition pipeline and manage key dates on the asset offering process.
• Work with team during underwriting process and assist in providing all relevant comp and market info needed to finalize models. Underwriting experience is a plus.
• Work with team to continually modify acquisitions strategy.

Qualifications

• The Director of Acquisitions must have 5+ years of acquisition specific real estate experience.
• Entrepreneurial / self starter.
• Candidate can work from any of Leifer's target markets and will be required to travel frequently with all expenses paid for
• Underwriting experience.
• Desired candidate must show existing relationships in at least 1-2+ of Leifer's target markets, as well as a track record of sourced deals.

Compensation

• Compensation commensurate with experience.
• Salary + partnership economics
