Hartmann Young is excited to partner with an innovative medical diagnostics company specializing in point-of-care blood coagulation solutions. We are seeking a Director of Business Development, Europe to lead business management and drive sales performance across all European business units. In this key role, you will spearhead the company’s growth in the EU point-of-care diagnostics market, utilizing your extensive network within hospitals and clinics to cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales initiatives to meet business objectives, including growth through both new and existing distributors.
- Strategize, manage, and nurture collaborations with key customers and distributors to foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and manage the CRM deal pipeline to guide business opportunities and forecast future sales.
- Gather and analyze market data to identify opportunities for new product development and strategic growth.
- Lead the development of sales strategies and field efforts to promote and sell the full product portfolio, including representing the company at trade shows, presenting to stakeholders, and managing the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory departments to ensure product availability and market needs are met.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing regional sales performance across multiple product categories.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is required.
- Proven experience in sales of diagnostic or medical devices.
- Strong familiarity with internal processes for managing customer and distributor relationships to maximize efficiency.
- Demonstrated success in selling technology-driven solutions.
- A solid track record of managing distributors to achieve and exceed sales targets.
