Are you a seasoned leader in the realm of Data Center construction, seeking a pivotal role in shaping the future of our infrastructure? We are looking for a visionary Director of Field Operations to join our dynamic team, at leading General Contractor in the Data Center space.

Position Overview: As the Director of Field Operations, you will spearhead our efforts in managing and overseeing the construction of state-of-the-art Data Centers nationwide. Your expertise in managing complex construction projects, coupled with a deep understanding of Data Center operations, will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead a team of project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
• Operational Excellence: Implement and refine operational processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, safety, and productivity on-site.
• Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
• Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize project outcomes and mitigate risks.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years specializing in Data Center construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects within the Data Center or mission-critical facility sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in Data Center construction and operations.
