In line with both our growth and business development, we are further expanding our company by researching for our US Operation a Director of Sales.



The figure will be a proven sales leader possessing superior strategic planning, business development and sales management skills. They will spearhead US commercial sales strategy and execution across all channels including professional audio-video contractors, consultants, architects, end users, developers, distributors, and other key influencers. This role will oversee and drive revenue growth for Powersoft’s complete portfolio of commercial audio solutions, with a focus on leading the U.S. Sales, Solutions, and Business Development teams. The position will answer to the GM of Powersoft US.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Develop and lead the commercial sales strategy and go-to-market plans to achieve aggressive revenue growth targets across all product lines and channels.
  • Establish and drive achievement of U.S. sales goals, quotas and performance metrics.
  • Recruit, hire, coach and manage a high-performing U.S. sales team including regional sales managers, sales engineers and channel partners such as manufacturer’s rep firms.
  • Oversee and coordinate regional commercial sales leadership and execution.
  • Develop strong relationships and strategic partnerships with Global Key Accounts, industry partners, consultants and influencers.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and optimize strategies.
  • Design and implement new sales processes, incentive programs and campaigns to drive growth.
  • Present quarterly commercial sales results, analysis and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with global marketing on brand building, product launches, lead generation and channel initiatives.
  • Significant travel required to interact with regional teams and key customers/partners.
  • Coordinate with HQ’s Global Sales Director on global sales strategies and plans.
  • Collect US market feedback to shape future product development roadmap.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree, MBA or master's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of successful global sales management and leadership experience, preferably in pro AV, broadcast, digital media or related technology fields.
  • Proven track record of developing sales teams and driving growth
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in pipeline management & sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Willingness for frequent travel (50%+).
