Korn Ferry has partnered with a high growth organization in their search for a Director of Total Rewards based in Northeast Ohio. The Director of Total Rewards will lead and manage the development, implementation, and administration of the organization’s total rewards program, including compensation, benefits and 401k, across the entire footprint. The Director of Total Rewards is a high-impact and high-visibility role, in which the organization needs a strategic thinker with a strong track record of leading and implementing total rewards programs, to help take organizations to the next level as they continue to grow and scale.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop a multi-year benefit strategy, which considers competitive market and industry trends and cost-effective approaches
Create innovative and engaging employee benefits programs by thinking outside the box to offer unique benefit packages to all levels of employees throughout the organization, that will best suit their needs
Ensure there are robust communications around the total suite of benefits to all employees (medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, basic and supplemental life, 401k and additional ancillary plans)
Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with brokers and external vendors
Hold an annual health and wellness fair at the home office as well as assist in planning the same for the field locations across the U.S.
Build annual open enrollment and regular life event sessions in UKG as well as ensuring file feed set up and maintenance with benefit carriers
Have a consistent cadence to ensure audits and required notices and completed timely
Own foundational aspects of the compensation program, including compensation review cycles and market analyses to attract and retain the best talent
Lead the benefits team, to ensure continued growth and development, through mentoring and coaching
Provide support and recommendations for benefit and retirement programs in Canada
Ensure that all total rewards programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including FLSA, ACA, ERISA, HIPPA, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus
10+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation/benefits and strategy development, preferably in a leadership role
Previous experience with UKG preferred
In depth knowledge of federal and state regulations as it relates to benefits and compensation
Strong analytical and financial skills to assess benefits program effectiveness and budget management
Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey complex benefit concepts to employees at all levels
High level of attention to detail, accuracy and organization
Strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
