Job Description

The Director of Quality Assurance will lead a corporate wide initiative to design and implement a quality assurance program based on Quality Management Principles to ensure quality products and services are consistently delivered to our customers. This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency and excellence. You will be responsible for proactively leading initiatives that ensure uniformity, reduce defects and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities


  • Drives the Quality Assurance vision for the company
  • Creates and implements company quality standards
  • Defines and promotes a quality mindset across an entire company
  • Manages Quality Assurance functions, working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality products which are free from any flaws or errors
  • Designs, implements, and documents procedures for process control, testing and inspection
  • Ensures quality assurance objectives are met by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system and compliance audits
  • Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met
  • Evaluate and improve Quality Assurance processes
  • Identify possible errors and areas of improvement
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing organizational change initiatives
  • Strong understanding of change management and quality principles, methodologies, and tools and best practices including ISO 9001 standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and guide stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $118,000-150,000 annutally and will be based on a number of additional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
