We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to join a growing electrical construction firm in Cary, NC with a great team and company culture. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of electrical project management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.


Responsibilities

-Collaborate with the Field PM and/or Foreman to verify project buy outs.

-Review the submittal with the Field PM and/or Foreman for compliance with specifications and a complete Bill of Materials (BOM).

-Oversee submittals during the review process with vendors/subcontractors, General Contractors (GC)/Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Designers for final approval.

-Work with the Field PM and/or Foreman to provide schedule input to the GC/CMAR.

-Provide notifications to the GC/CMAR regarding concerns, impacts, and delays.

-Handle and resolve disputes with the General Contractor.

-Collaborate with accounting to create an SOV.

-Submit all CCNs for the project and follow up to obtain approvals.

-Work with the Field PM and/or Foreman to mark up monthly billings.

-Manage all RFIs requested by the Field PM or Foreman.

-Monitor cost to date, forecast dollars to complete, and ensure alignment with field production.

-Manage all document control through the Owner, GC, or CMAR project management platform.

-Attend all Owner and PM site meetings.

-Manage the close-out process and required documentation.

-Oversee inspections with the Field PM/Foreman.

-Manage equipment startups, owner training, and video documentation.


Qualifications

-Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager.

-Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-Proficiency in project management software.

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
