Engineering Intern

Job Description

Summary: The Engineering Intern will assist staff with projects, offer suggestions on existing methods, conduct research, write reports, and collect data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with all levels of staff in formal and informal settings

Develop mechanical product designs and processes for medical devices

Basic Experience With Modeling/drafting Software (SolidWorks) Are Preferred.

Conduct tests and document results

Conduct basic calculations and layouts.

Gain exposure to manufacturing and operations through new product development. May assist with manufacturing engineering troubleshooting efforts.

Product design

Work with CAD Technicians to create or modify design drawings.

Performs All Other Duties And Responsibilities As Assigned.

Qualifications/ Education:

• High School diploma
• Student currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering Degree Program.
