About the Role
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on architectural and design decisions, conduct code reviews, and ensure technical alignment with the organisation’s goals.
Product Ownership: Define and deliver the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with user needs.
Team Growth: Create a supportive, high-performing environment by mentoring team members, fostering professional development, and establishing clear roles and responsibilities.
Alignment and Communication: Act as a key point of communication between the team, leadership, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience managing and growing engineering teams, ideally in a remote-first or async environments.
6+ years of hands-on technical leadership, delivering scalable, maintainable solutions across complex projects.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to empower teams while maintaining strategic focus.
A proven track record in designing and implementing reliable, scalable software systems.
Desirable Experience
Building developer tools or extensible frameworks.
Working within open-source ecosystems and modern languages such as TypeScript or Rust.
