PURPOSE

To improve student achievement by performing duties associated with library print and non-print circulation; audio-visual equipment scheduling, distribution, and use; computer lab use; student aide and volunteer coordination. Assists students, staff, parents, and the general community in the use of a school site Library Media Center.

Hours per day: 8

Status: Temporary, September 3, 2024 - December 6, 2024

Hourly Range: $21.19 - $27.05

What is ESSA?

The federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) works to support equal opportunity for disadvantaged students and eliminate barriers to student success. ESSA requires all paraprofessionals working in a Title I funded school to meet certain proficiency in reading, writing and math.
