Job Description (Location: East Coast of United States preferred)

The company is currently seeking a senior level executive assistant in the United States to support the Chairman and CEO. Sutherland offers highly competitive compensation and benefits to the successful candidate.


Personal Traits

The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated intellectually curious. This individual must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to position themselves as a corporate role model as a representative of the Office of the CEO and Chairman. This individual must be comfortable working in a hyper growth, high accountability and high stress environment, have a high energy level, the ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule. The ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality is of the utmost importance. A calm and respectful demeanor is critical.


Responsibilities

This individual will provide support to the Chairman and CEO of Sutherland. Duties include, but are not limited to:

 Acting as a point of contact for OCEO both within the company and externally

 Screening of calls

 Coordination of calendars, meetings and social events

 Coordination of travel plans

 Preparation of correspondence and other written communication

 Handling of confidential matters

 Representing the OCEO on task forces

 Other miscellaneous duties as required


Skillsets Required

Reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO, the Executive Assistant provides Executive support in a one-on one working relationship and serves as a point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the Chairman and CEO. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and overseas special projects.

 The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations  Strong written and verbal communication skills

 Strong administrative and organizational skills and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities

 The candidate should have the ability to work independently on projects, from concept-on to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities on deadlines

 Proven experience in handling confidential matters with discretion

 Ability to resolve complex problems but knows when to ask for guidance

 Strong, engaging, leadership skills

 Expert use of the Microsoft 365 suite of services including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel

 Strong problem-solving capabilities

 Able to communicate meaningful summaries from complex data at all levels of the organization  Maintaining appointments and scheduling meetings, conferences, etc.

 Calm and respectful demeanor

 Keyboarding speed above average, at least 50 words per minute

 Above average financial and mathematical understanding


Qualifications & Experience

 College degree

 Minimum 4 years previous, reference-able experience working directly with high-level executives in a senior support role

 Ability to travel internationally and domestically
