Financial Controller - Manufacturing

Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing and directing all financial activities of the multi entity organization, performing process improvement and financial analysis on new projects. The successful candidate will have expert financial and accounting skills, and be able to work with the CEO, internal staff, and clients to implement and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the entire accounting process, including the review of journal entries, reconciliations, account analyses, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the timely preparation of accurate financial statements and other financial reports as required
• Manage the preparation and review of project, materials, and labor costs.
• Monitor manufacturing and manufacturing/construction cost accounting and ensure accuracy of financial information
• Prepare and review budget and forecast information for management
• Identify and implement process improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, construction cost accounting, payroll, and/or finance
• Experience within the manufacturing or construction industry desired.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
