A third-party testing laboratory in Modesto has positions for laboratory technicians in the field of microbiology and chemistry. The person will be responsible for carrying out sample preparation and testing on daily basis, performing and coordinating quality control work, data analysis, maintaining the laboratory, assisting in special projects, and performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants must have an associate or B.S. degree in biology, chemistry, or related science field. The ideal candidate should have good laboratory skills and habits, be well-organized, detail-oriented, cooperative, and can work independently and as a team player. Lab technicians must be willing to work late hours and on some weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in analytical chemistry or microbiology testing is highly desirable and will be considered in salary determination.
