About The Role

Looking for a cracked Frontend Developer to join our team and take a leading role in building The Pulse Hub, our web app that serves as the gateway to the Pulse ecosystem. The Hub allows users to access basic health insights, view their data contributions, track rewards, and engage with the wider Pulse community.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our designer and CTO to bring designs to life, translating ideas into functional, polished, and scalable code. You’ll collaborate on shaping the Hub’s technical implementation and user experience, ensuring it aligns with Pulse’s mission of empowering users to take control of their health data. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking product in the health tech space and play a key part in its success.

What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Developer at Pulse, you will:

  • Take the lead in architecting, building and scaling the Pulse Hub web portal, ensuring seamless functionality for tracking health metrics, rewards, and user engagement.
  • Work across the stack, leveraging React / Next.js for a dynamic front-end, Tailwind CSS, and back-end using Supabase and Cloudfront.
  • Collaborate closely with our product and design teams, to deliver an intuitive, visually appealing user interface that communicates complex ideas through simple design and implementation.
  • Ensure high-performance and responsive design to handle real-time data visualization and dynamic user interactions.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and implement rigorous testing to deliver a robust, scalable platform.
  • You’ll have the autonomy to select your own tools and libraries helping build the foundations of our web app.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of frontend development experience with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web applications.
  • Expertise in interactive web app development, data visualization, and responsive frontend development.
  • Proven ability to write scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Keen eye for detail across animations, user interactions, custom interactive components.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like GitHub and Linear.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • A passion for health, fitness, or wellness technologies.
