About The Role

As a key member of our founding team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping both our company's direction and product development. Collaborating closely with our founders, you'll take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle and contribute significantly to our decision-making processes.

Skills

Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind

Backend: Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, SQL, Postgres, Redis, AWS

In Your First 30 Days

• Dive into our existing tech stack and familiarize yourself with our codebase and products under the guidance of our CTO
• Begin writing backend code and tackling small tasks to get up to speed
• Participate in team meetings to gain insights into our people analytics product
  
  
  

In Your First 60 Days

• Take on more significant tasks and actively contribute to product development
• Lead the software development lifecycle for the features you're responsible for, from ideation to release
• Collaborate with our team to prioritize feature development and address any bugs
  
  
  

In Your First 90 Days

• Identify opportunities to enhance our customer experience and drive key business metrics through new feature development
• Strike a balance between short-term business goals and long-term architectural decisions and tech debt management
• Assume greater responsibility for shaping our engineering practices and processes
  
  
  

About You

• You thrive in autonomous work environments and excel at transforming ambiguous requirements into robust solutions
• You're energized by the prospect of building a rapidly growing startup from the ground up
• Your innate curiosity drives you to continuously learn and grow
• You're passionate about addressing the challenges in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion landscape
• You bring at least 3 years of backend engineering experience to the table, with bonus points if you've worked in early-stage startups
