We are currently looking for a Global Key Account Manager (GKAM) to join us at any of our locations in Europe. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
The role
As the Global Key Account Manager (GKAM) you are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key global customers and ensure long-term success and revenue growth. The role focuses on understanding client needs and aligning the company’s offerings with the client’s objectives. You are a central point of contact for strategic accounts, and you will coordinate efforts across multiple regions and functions to ensure seamless customer service and maximize account potential.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Management:
- You build and maintain strong relationships with global key accounts and act as the primary point of contact.
- You develop a deep understanding of our client’s business, strategies, and industry trends to proactively address their needs.
- You foster trust and long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Account Strategy Development:
- You develop and implement global account plans aligned with both client objectives and company goals.
- You identify growth opportunities within accounts, including upselling, cross-selling, and new product introductions.
- You monitor and analyze account performance, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- You collaborate with regional sales teams, operations, marketing, and product development to ensure Orbia B&I activities support key account needs
- You manage global pricing agreements, contracts, and negotiations in coordination with internal teams.
- You act as a liaison between Global Key Accounts and the company, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Performance and KPI Management:
- You track account performance metrics such as revenue growth, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and production adoption rate
- You present periodic account reviews to internal and client stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and future plans.
- Market and Industry Insight:
- You stay informed about global market trends, competitive dynamics, and client-specific industry challenges.
- You provide strategic input to internal teams to adapt offerings to meet market demands.
Profile:
- You have several years of demonstrated commercial experience; account management, sales or customer service, preferably in an international environment
- You have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- You are an excellent communicator and have great negotiation skills.
- You have the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- You are proficient in CRM tools and data analysis platforms.
- You are a strong negotiator and have solid conflict-resolution skills.
- You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
- Technical competency, ability to understand technical value propositions of Orbia B&I products and capability to translate these value propositions to customer value
- You are fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Dutch) are a plus.
