Global Sourcing Manager

Position Summary

• Develop and implement a robust sourcing and procurement strategy.
• Utilizes the Supplier Performance Management System to provide timely feedback to suppliers.
• Identify, establish, and maintain supplier relationships and negotiations to execute cost reduction strategies.
• Lead procurement planning processes including cost, quality, and delivery primarily from North America, Asia, and other Global Suppliers
• Manage the sourcing, forecasting, demand planning, inventory management and buying operations.
• Managing a team of 4 buyers & planners

Requirements

• Bachelors degree Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• 10+ years of sourcing or procurement experience
• This position requires 50% international travel up to India & Asia.
• Experience working in packaging industry.
