Job Description

Salary: $14/hr.

Shift: 10am-close

12:00 pm-close

2:00 pm-close

Must be able to stay until 8 PM occasionally (at the latest).

SCOPE: Welcomes all incoming patients / guests to the Cancer Center as they arrive in the patient drop off area while maintaining a steady flow of traffic. Assesses the reason for the visit, communicates to other Guest Services team, and delivers to a Transporter / Receptionist. Responsible for assisting patient upon exit of the Cancer Center.

Functions

• Greets all incoming patients & guests in a personable & welcoming manner and assists as they are exiting
• Obtain accurate patient information to relay to Guest Services team
• Maintaining steady flow to avoid unnecessary wait for guests
• Transports Patients to their appointments
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Customer Service Experience Preferred

Experience in a medical facility assisting patients required

Ability to lift 200lbs.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Ability to work outdoors/adjust to climate changes

High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

Ability to think independently, anticipate needs and take initiative.
