Head of Accounting – iGaming

Exacta Solutions is looking for a highly experienced Head of Accounting to join our client, a leading player in the iGaming industry. This is a remote opportunity for a finance leader with a solid background in iGaming plus a strong foundation in global professional services firms or top-tier financial institutions, particularly those specializing in audit, advisory, or investment management.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Curacao gaming licenses and bring a strategic approach to managing financial operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the accounting function, ensuring compliance with international standards and iGaming-specific regulations.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax filings in jurisdictions related to Curacao gaming licenses.
• Implement and optimize financial systems, processes, and controls to support scalability and efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and contribute to overall business growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial alignment across all operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the organization.
• Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and other financial reporting standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in iGaming, with a thorough understanding of the industry’s financial and regulatory frameworks.
• A strong career foundation in global professional services firms or top-tier financial institutions.
• Expertise in Curacao gaming licenses and related financial compliance.
• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams.
• Experience in managing audits and building relationships with regulatory authorities is a plus.
