Job Summary:

As the Head of Finance, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. You will oversee the accounting and financial reporting processes, manage the budget and forecast, and ensure that the organization adheres to all financial regulations and partner requirements. You will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure effective financial management, and support the growth and success of our acquisition platform. Your expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting will be crucial in driving the company's financial performance and achieving our mission of creating sustainable employee ownership models.



How you'll make an impact:

Financial Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and acquisition goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial objectives, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing insights to guide decision-making.

Financial Forecasting, Management, and Reporting

  • Develop a consolidated financial model for the holding company.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, debt/cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.

Acquisition and Integration Support

  • Support financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, assessing financial health and identifying synergies.
  • Develop financial forecast and reporting mechanisms for portfolio companies.
  • Monitor post-acquisition financial performance.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance and progress towards goals.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on strategic financial management, preferably in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proven experience in forecasting and budgeting for multiple entities and consolidating financials into comprehensive reports.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial analysis, and organizational dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of debt management, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping and cash flow optimization.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience building operational processes and tracking KPIs.

Compensation:

This position will receive a competitive base salary DOE, early-stage equity, and a generous benefits package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and paid holidays.
