Committed to identifying, attracting, engaging and hiring talent that's worth raving about!

At Murphy USA, our Principles of Integrity, Respect, Citizenship and Spirit are the foundation of how we operate. From company leadership to a brand-new cashier, we’re united in an approach that’s not just about what we do, but how we do it.

For both Murphy USA (headquartered in El Dorado, AR) and our QuickChek subsidiary (headquartered in Whitehouse Station, NJ), we have small-town roots with a big impact. We have more than 1,700 stores in 27 states and not only are we committed to providing our communities with excellent service, but we come together to improve the quality of life where we live and work by supporting the causes that make these areas thrive.

We value diversity in all its forms, both visible and invisible, and promote diverse approaches in thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and actions. We encourage bravery and challenging the status quo. We empower every employee to fuel a brighter future for themselves and their families through endless opportunities to learn, develop, and grow. Key wins in innovation like our Murphy Drive Rewards loyalty program allow us to more closely connect with our customers and provide them greater value.

We operate our stores with an emphasis on fuel sales complemented by a convenience offering that allows for a smaller store footprint than most of our competitors. With roughly three times the amount of fuel volumes compared to the national average, our network of company-owned terminals provides an advantaged fuel supply capability and supports our low-cost business model. Through key vendor relationships, enhanced promotions, and our loyalty program, we are intentional about providing significant value to our merchandise margin and operational execution.

As one of the largest national gasoline and convenience retailers, we serve an estimated 2 million customers every day and rank 182 among Fortune 500-companies. Our efforts and results reflect our commitment to creating long-term shareholder value through disciplined organic growth, a culture of continuous improvement and a returns-based capital allocation strategy. While our continued success drives our future capabilities, we know that without our committed employee-base, we are simply another retailer. What sets us apart from others is our people and our journey. We are Murphy USA.
