As a Health Informatics Specialist, you will . .

Conduct critical quality assurance analyses on health plan submitted data integrating various sources including performance measure results from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, claims and encounter data from Covered California’s Healthcare Evidence Initiative, and demographic data from the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment, and Retention System. Develop standardized intake methodology and monitoring systems to support timely health plan data submissions that impact major health plan accountability programs. Evaluate and provide recommendations and program strategies to improve data gathering and procedures to structure the data in efficient and useable formats
