We seek a certified physics teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year who is willing to certify for Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching college preparatory and honors-level physics and a passion for inspiring students to explore the wonders of the physical world.

We seek a certified physics teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year who is willing to certify for Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching college preparatory and honors-level physics and a passion for inspiring students to explore the wonders of the physical world.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive, standards-based lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards (MA STE Standards and NGSS.)
- Utilize instructional practices that motivate and engage all students, accommodating differences in learning needs.
- Create a safe physical and intellectual environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Foster a student-centered classroom environment utilizing project-based learning approaches.
- Collaborate effectively with peers and other stakeholders to enhance student learning experiences.
- Develop and prepare student investigations and experiments utilizing Project-Based Learning and UDL.
- Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and provide timely feedback to students.
- Obtain certification for Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses if not already certified.
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in Secondary Physics (or eligible for certification).
- Previous experience teaching college preparatory and honors-level physics is strongly preferred.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to teach students from diverse backgrounds.
- Exemplary communication and organization skills.
- Commitment to equity and inclusion in education.
- Willingness to obtain certification for Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses.
