Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physician to join our team. This position will be primarily hospitalist. We are a partner with Holy Name Medical Center and continue to grow our footprint in Northern New Jersey.
Responsibilities:**
Provide primary medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries
Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical evidence
Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
Regular flor of ER admission, in hospital follow ups, and safe discharges
Qualifications:**
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification.
Valid medical license in NJ.
Proficient in a wide range of medical procedures, including gastric lavage, catheterization, psychopharmacology, administering injections, airway management, tube feeding, and dermabrasion
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
