The Aloft Hotel in Detroit has been renovated and is now The Hotel David Whitney, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. Exceptional opportunity available for General Manager with full-service expertise to oversee the rebranding of a lifestyle, boutique hotel property. Must have expertise in rooms operations, sales and marketing , food & beverage, catering, revenue management, and managing P&L. Candidates with hotel opening experience preferred. If you are from Michigan, and would like to return home to Detroit area, this may be an ideal position to consider.

Responsibilities include:

• Directing all pre-opening efforts
• Establishing SOPs
• Hiring department heads and leading the staffing efforts
• Ensuring employees are expertly trained and provide exemplary service
• Managing P&L
• Ensuring outstanding guest experiences
• Handle any and all guest service matters
