Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a point of contact for all human resource activities for the functions/rigs they support. Provides advice, assistance and follow-up on company procedures, and documentation. Works with HR Manager to resolve policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Keeps abreast of changes in the business and proactively counsels client groups on potential impact on the workplace and the workforce
Works towards standardization of process and practices in all areas of Human Resources delivery
Facilitates the customer’s talent management processes (performance management, succession planning, career development planning) such that the client is provided with prepared, qualified internal candidates and provides employees with career growth opportunities
Coordinates various personnel movements with other company locations
Supports delivery and execution of workforce planning, staffing and recruitment efforts
Ensures accurate Human Resource Information System records within client group by actively coordinating HR data management activities within client group
Establishes Human Resources visibility and fosters a positive employee relations environment within the client group via field visits and client leadership team participation
Assists with employee counseling, coaching, terminations, and investigations of alleged harassment, discrimination or other inappropriate workplace behavior
Works on special projects as assigned
Facilitates special projects as assigned within their client group
Travels to visit assigned offshore units, where permitted, as and when required
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
Preferred HR Professional Certification such as SHRM or CIPD or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience or in a similar role.
Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of government regulations related to Human Resources issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Working knowledge of Expatriate Assignment issues
