Key Responsibilities

  • Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
  • Design and implement company policies
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans
  • Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process
  • Setting up the sourcing strategies and building a strong employer brand to attract more qualified employees to the company
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of local and overseas staff to ensure compliance with company HR policies and systems

In addition, understanding the organizational needs of today and in the future while planning accordingly is critical for the foundation for all other HR key functions which include:

  • Proactive human resource planning

  • Flawless performance management-Making sure that the employers are engaged and staying productive.
  • Training and development- building a stronger employer brand, higher productivity and better succession planning
  • Effective and timely career planning and guidance to get the best out of employees
  • Resolve conflicts- to intervene in the correct manner and at the right time and map out a solution before things get worse
  • Handling Rewards framework
  • Ensure health and safety in workplace
  • Maintaining a good work culture in line with the company culture and ethics
  • Administrative responsibilities and other tasks as assigned by senior management stakeholders


Job Qualifications

  • Authorized to work; Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Have practical experience and a comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions within a global organization
  • Familiar with local labor and personnel laws and regulations
  • Able to proactively detect risks in advance and actively seek solutions
  • High interpersonal skills and Emotional intelligence (the ability to accurately identify and respond to emotions)
  • Active listening skills: The HR department are the ears of the organization. Human resources hears employee’s questions, and concerns. Being fully present in the conversation can also help human resource staff pick up on nonverbal cues. By reading between the lines of a conversation, HR pros can more quickly diagnose and treat problems.
  • Proficient in using office software such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio.
  • Culturally sensitive with overseas study and work experience
  • Professional English and Chinese communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative but sometimes high pressure environment.
