Industrial Engineer

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm ET

LOCATION: Merritt Island, FL

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing operational efficiency. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional adept at analyzing production workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions.

• Conducting time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Designing layout and workflow improvements to optimize productivity.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and streamline operations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
• Providing technical support and training to production staff.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFCATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with [specific manufacturing software/tools].
