You will be the lead strategist across 5-7 influencer-affiliate communities for our direct to consumer brands. Your sole responsibility will be managing the client accounts including recruiting influencers at scale to create content on a performance basis, managing a team of coordinators, building creative briefs, setting up email and SMS flows, and managing the team against our client goals.

What is an influencer-affiliate community?

A brand-owned community of influencers that create content in exchange for product gifting, commissions on sales driven through their unique link, and cash depending on the size and performance of the influencer.


The secondary benefits of these programs are that they become a consistent pipeline of UGC content that can be used to support the brand's paid social strategy and the community becomes an army of creators that can be deployed against any of the brands marketing initiatives like product launches, R&D, key tentpole/marketing moments, etc.


Who are we looking for?

An influencer marketing subject matter expert with over 5 years of experience building, managing, and executing performance focused influencer campaigns that achieve CPA and ROAS targets.


You will lead the community management and creative strategy process to foster engagement and participation from influencers in the community.


Must have experience driving significant revenue through influencer marketing, experience negotiating rates effectively, tracking and reporting on performance metrics with influencers, and be passionate about working with category leading brands to drive profitable revenue through your efforts.


Influencer-affiliate strategist Roles & Responsibilities


  • Influencer recruitment at scale: recruit influencers that drive revenue for the brand.
  • Recruiting influencers at scale to join a community where they will receive their own unique link to create content on a performance basis.
  • Set up email sequences to recruit influencers in our influencer tool
  • Build lists of 1000+ qualified influencers using our influencer tool
  • Build archetypes of influencers that will be successful
  • Test, learn, and iterate on subject lines, messaging, and recruiting tactics to increase # of influencers added to the program
  • Manage a pipeline of influencers from onboarding to long-term partnerships.
  • Community Management: Nurture influencers from opt-in to creating content.
  • This will require being front line support to troubleshoot and solve problems for influencers.
  • You will be the face and voice of the community, managing the community hub, often a facebook group.
  • Create processes that reduce friction in the community in the form of content and education.
  • This includes hosting webinars, Q&A sessions, community spotlights of top performers, monthly newsletters, and host in person meet ups.
  • Creative strategy: Develop creative briefs, campaigns, challenges, and more!
  • This is setting influencers up for success so that the content that they create results in sales that hit the programs ROAS targets and leads to income for the creators. This part requires part creative strategy and part coach.
  • This can include creating top performing concepts, trends, case studies of successful influencers content, and messaging.
  • Campaigns and challenges
  • This includes creating a content calendar for as many moments as possible for the influencer to leverage in their content while fostering more participation. The goal here is to enable influencers to create as much content as possible.


The Ideal influencer-affiliate hire also has the following traits:


  • Is excited about joining the ground floor of a fast growing agency that will be at the forefront of the next big channel within marketing.
  • Has charisma, high energy, and is comfortable being on camera.
  • Has leadership experience, can be client facing, while also wanting to be the lead executer/program manager in building these programs for our clients.
  • Has experience building a team but is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work.
  • Has experience building an affiliate program that consists of influencers, bloggers, and content sites.
  • Experience with creative briefs for influencers to develop organic and paid concepts.
  • A strong voice that can lead and coach influencers towards success by hitting company objectives.
  • Has performance marketing experience.
  • Has experience building successful ambassador programs.
  • Has experience leveraging whitelisting and creating content with influencers to support a brand's paid social strategy on Facebook, Instagram, and tiktok.
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond - If you are looking for a laidback 9 - 5 job this isn't the right opportunity for you.
  • Must be willing to manage programs end-to-end
  • Must be able to lead strategy with our clients and execute against program goals including: pulling qualitative and quantitative insights
