THE ROLE:
The Jr. Research & Analytics Consultant role is an entry-level position that focuses on conducting social listening analyses using and in partnership with Brandwatch. You will work with clients across industries on large, in-depth projects by providing consultative and analytics-driven professional services. This role is client facing and does not require prior social listening experience.
Specifically, you will be:
Implementing effective, scalable data analysis solutions, including, but not limited to, creating and cleaning datasets, creating visual dashboards, and segmenting data where applicable
Analyzing and interpreting large volumes of social conversation to provide insights answering client business questions using Google/Apple/Microsoft Suites
Making strategic recommendations based on your combination of qualitative and quantitative research findings
Presenting deliverables in a clear, engaging manner to internal and client stakeholders, effectively translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Leading live training sessions for onboarding new Brandwatch clients to the platform, providing in-depth platform guidance and answering client questions.
A portion of this role includes analysis of social media posts published by consumers (and bots). As such, individuals in this role may occasionally be exposed to explicit social media content while conducting their day-to-day responsibilities.The ideal candidate has the capability to analyze this type of content professionally and approach it with maturity. While this isn’t a substantial component of the job, it is one that we believe applicants should be aware of prior to applying.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation skills
Requires strong Google Sheets / Excel (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, conditional formatting), PowerPoint, and Google Suite skills
A love for telling stories with data and a knack for communicating your findings
Ability to work independently on projects while still interacting across multiple internal and external teams
Exceptional time management skills
Clear and proactive communication style
Open and receptive to receiving and providing feedback
