Laboratory Technician I
Location: Milford, OH
Duration: 12 Months
Description
Level I:0-3 years.
Under direct supervision, perform a variety of routine laboratory operations in research setting.
Conduct analytical testing on both organic and inorganic samples using standard methods like ASTM.
Perform simple chemical experiments to support ongoing research and operational projects.
Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a productive, accident-free work environment.
Accurately record and maintain experimental data to ensure consistency and reliability of results.
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated with current industry practices.
Communicate data in verbal and written format.
Collaborate with team members to address challenges and improve testing methodologies.
Properly handle and safely dispose of chemicals as per environmental and safety standards.
Skills And Competencies
Basic knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality work.
Ability to follow complex scientific procedures and protocols.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Experience in using various types of lab equipment and familiarity with computer-based data management.
