Learning And Development Specialist

The Learning and Development Specialist will assist in the design, development, and facilitation of our various training programs that drive Our Philosophy throughout the organization. These programs may take place online, in classrooms, or in training facilities. This role will primarily focus on learning administration within the HRIS system, content creation, and presentation delivery to support the organization's learning initiatives. This position may require travel on an as needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Administration:

  • Manage learning activities, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting within the HRIS system.
  • Assist in the coordination of training programs, workshops, and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, evaluations, and feedback.

Content Creation:

  • Assist in the development and updating of training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning materials.

Presentation and Delivery:

  • Assist in the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and presentations
  • Facilitate and support facilitators in preparing materials, setting up training sessions, and managing participant engagement.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training delivery methods to enhance learning effectiveness.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, to identify learning needs and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote learning opportunities and gather feedback.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders to support the achievement of learning objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in learning and development.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of learning programs based on feedback and evaluation results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 2+of experience in learning and development, training coordination, or related area.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management, presenting ideas and concepts
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines if needed on a project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and HRIS platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles.
  • Experience with content creation tools and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitate group discussions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for continuous learning and development.
