Linux Engineer
A leading high-frequency trading firm based in New York is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer engineer to deploy, maintain, and monitor a fleet of bare-metal Unix Servers within their low-latency environment, while also developing innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the server lifecycle
Build, deploy, and maintain solutions
Monitor performance and manage system capacity
Analyze and resolve technical incidents
Automate systems
Connect hardware and software
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting Linux/Unix servers
Experience within a HPC environment
Python Scripting experience
Experience with infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible flavor)
Knowledge of virtualization and networking
