Linux Engineer

Linux Engineer
A leading high-frequency trading firm based in New York is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer engineer to deploy, maintain, and monitor a fleet of bare-metal Unix Servers within their low-latency environment, while also developing innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the server lifecycle
- Build, deploy, and maintain solutions
- Monitor performance and manage system capacity
- Analyze and resolve technical incidents
- Automate systems
- Connect hardware and software
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting Linux/Unix servers
- Experience within a HPC environment
- Python Scripting experience
- Experience with infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible flavor)
- Knowledge of virtualization and networking
