Maintenance Supervisor

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (2nd Shift)

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Salary: $70,000 + straight time on weekends + Bonus

Position Hours: 2nd Shift, 2:00pm- 12:30am, 6 days per seek

+++ (MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OTHER SHIFTS or ARRIVE EARLY for SHIFT when Needed)+++

Position Location: Archbold, Ohio

Experience:

• Candidate must have 3+ years of maintenance supervision. Experience within a food manufacturing environment is a plus. Experience working in ammonia refrigeration and HACCP would be a plus.Must be self-directed and come to the table with solutions to issues or plant concerns.
• Must thrive in a team-based environment and have a willingness to jump into challenges or situations that are new.

Position Responsibilities are, but not limited:

• Installation and maintenance of equipment.
• Safety training and awareness.
• Maintenance of plant building/ facility, testing and ensuring proper operation of all equipment and machinery.
• Direct and work hands on with a team of hourly Machine Mechanics on assigned shift, which includes their training and development.
• Capital project, process improvement work and continuous improvement initiatives will also be part of the role.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree would be preferred, but High School diploma is required.
• Successful candidate must have strong leadership and excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Must communicate effectively with direct reports, peers, and senior management.
• Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience is desired.
• Familiar with common business software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Candidate will report directly to Maintenance Manager.
