Great Lakes Power’s Mentor, Ohio location is seeking applicants with experience as a quality control technician. Full Time 1st shift position
Requirements and Essential Functions Performed:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use manual machines a plus.
Set up and operate CMM and or Comparator machines.
Know how to operate a crane.
Tooling and Fixturing knowledge
Evaluate and recommend machining process improvements
Proficient in checking parts off lathes, mills, and other manufacturing equipment.
Understand basic drilling and tapping.
Knowledge of micrometer/caliper repair and calibration.
Basic safety practices
Knowledge of check sheets and the importance of documentation.
Ability to Use Various Inspection Tools Such as Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges, CMM, and Comparators.
Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Knowledge of ID, OD mics, and depth gauges.
Ability to Read and Understand Blueprints and Technical Documents.
