 ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic marketing team at BAND, a top-rated, free group communication app that frequently ranks among the top 15 social network apps in the US. Our platform serves a diverse array of organized groups, with student activity groups, particularly sports teams, being among our most active users.

We are seeking a user-centric and team-oriented Marketing Specialist with exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for content production, marketing, and enhancing user experience.

Our marketing team oversees the entire user journey, from initial awareness to conversion and ongoing education. As a Marketing Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in every aspect of our marketing efforts. Your skills in content creation, campaign execution, and brand representation will be instrumental in driving the growth and retention of our service.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 1. Content Planning, Sourcing, and Creation

- Collaborate with Designers and Videographers: Ideate and produce compelling marketing materials such as emails, banners, videos, landing pages, blogs, posts, guides, presentations, and more.

- Content Creation: Utilize your skills in copywriting, storytelling, visualization, storyboarding, graphics, video, and web to generate high-quality content.

- User Interviews: Interview users for user research and content sourcing. Turn their experiences into promotional materials, such as impactful testimonial videos and written content. Archive content libraries and user pools for future use.

- Product Guides: Plan and create detailed product guides for users and prospective users, including screenshots and instructional content.


 2. Campaign Execution Assistance

- Promotions and Campaigns: Assist the team with devising and executing various marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns and promotions, and work across various channels to boost product adoption and brand awareness.

- User Ambassador Program: Plan and manage a user ambassador program to source authentic content from users and promote referrals.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and suggest adjustments to make improvements.


 3. Direct Interactions with Prospects and Users

- Brand Representation: Represent our brand at conferences and industry events to showcase our products and services.

- Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to effectively communicate our value proposition.

- Product Demos: Conduct product demos for organizations interested in our service.

- User Inquiries: Assist with user troubleshooting and inquiries to ensure a positive user experience.


 QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in content creation/production, marketing, or related fields.

Work samples: Required to submit work samples showcasing relevant experience.

Attention to detail: Meticulous focus on detail is essential.

Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills for crafting persuasive messaging.

Disciplined: Demonstrated ability to work independently with self-motivation.

Collaborative: Positive and effective collaboration within a team environment.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to apply logical and analytical thinking skills to decision-making processes.

Eagerness to Learn: Adaptability and versatility, coupled with a curious mindset and a fervent drive to continuously acquire new skills and tools

Travel: Willingness to travel to conferences and events to represent the brand.

Software Proficiency: Proficient in basic office software (Google Docs, Excel) and design tools such as Canva. Experience with HubSpot and Adobe Suite is preferred.
