SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE


We are seeking a driven and experienced National Account Manager to join our team in managing key accounts within the Consumer Product Goods (CPG) sector. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize profitability and sales growth for our portfolio of products across national retail chains.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national retail accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and activities.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and supply chain to drive sales initiatives.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing agreements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial terms that align with company objectives and market conditions.
  • Utilize data analytics and market insights to forecast sales trends, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns and marketing activities with customers to drive product visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Manage account budgets effectively, ensuring allocation of resources to optimize profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, business reviews, and presentations for senior management and customers. Provide insights and recommendations based on performance metrics


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in national account management within the CPG industry, with at least 5-7+ years of experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and a focus on customer satisfaction.
