Duties
Job Description
Conduct engaging online reading classes via Zoom, working with groups of up to four students for sessions lasting 30 or 40 minutes.
Availability during both school and after-school hours is required, with most classes scheduled between 6 am to 5 pm PST, Monday through Friday.
Utilize provided curriculum and follow clear teaching directions.
Offer regular feedback on student progress.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student success.
Compensation: Up to $10 for 30-minute classes / $16 for 40-minute classes.
Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in education, English, or related fields demonstrating expertise in reading and literacy.
Previous experience teaching reading, ESL, and phonics in K-3 settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in educational technology is essential.
Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
U.S. work authorization is required.
Additional Information
We currently provide structured online reading classes for Pre-K to 6th-grade students.
