Role Overview
Join us in our endeavor to transform young minds by becoming an online reading instructor. Through engaging Zoom sessions with small groups of up to 4 students, you will conduct 30 to 40-minute classes. Our classes cater to both school and after-school schedules, typically running between 6 am to 5 pm PST, Monday through Friday. As part of our team, you'll follow a structured curriculum, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback to nurture student growth.
Responsibilities
Conduct online reading classes via Zoom for small groups of students.
Availability during both school and after-school hours.
Implement provided curriculum with precision.
Offer regular feedback on student progress.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student success.
Compensation ranges from $10 to $16 per 30-minute class and $16 to $20 per 40-minute class.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in education, English, or related fields emphasizing literacy expertise.
Prior experience teaching reading, ESL, or phonics in K-3.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in educational technology.
Bilingualism in Spanish is advantageous.
U.S. work authorization is mandatory.
