Unboxed Experiences is seeking responsible, charismatic, witty, high-energy, part-time Online Events Hosts to lead our unique virtual experiences. Our Online Events Hosts are responsible for entertaining groups of gastronomic enthusiasts by sharing their knowledge in an interesting, fun, and exciting way. All of our experiences take place through virtual conferencing software such as Zoom, Webex, or Remo.
This Position Might Be For You If
You are confident and capable of speaking to, managing, and engaging large groups of people virtually. You are outgoing, approachable, and enthusiastic. You are curious and excited to learn. You take constructive criticism well. You feel comfortable on camera and are able to keep each member of a group excited and engaged virtually. You don’t have an issue speaking up if you have found a better way to do something or you want to pursue a new opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Lead virtual educational experiences to small and large groups
Create an engaging, fun, and educational experience for all guests
Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of our products and services
Your Schedule
Flexible hours that work around your schedule
Weekday late morning and/or afternoon availability
Great addition to an existing full-time or part-time job
Our busiest time for events is Spring and Fall
What You’ll Need
Late morning and/or afternoon week day availability is a must (especially Thursdays)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
A well-lit, quiet, private space to lead virtual experiences at home
Personal computer with reliable high speed internet (at least 100/Mbps)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous tour guide, virtual host, theater, and/or improv experience
Previous experience with using virtual conferencing platforms
Tech savvy

Physical Requirements: You will need the ability to sit or stand in front of a computer/camera for the durations of up to 60 minutes at a time while hosting. You will need the mobility to complete the Unboxed Experiences activity.
