Payroll Manager

LaSalle Network has partnered with a dynamic and rapidly growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company dedicated to providing high-quality products to their customers. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented and experienced Payroll Manager to join their team.

As the Payroll Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for the company. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all relevant regulations and providing support to employees with payroll-related inquiries.

Payroll Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire payroll process, including data entry, verification and processing of payroll transactions
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including regular pay, bonuses, commissions and other compensation
• Review and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax laws
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare payroll-related reports for management and external auditors as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issue

Payroll Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
• 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll processing systems is required
