As we expand our team, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist/Payroll Specialist to join our accounting department.

**Job Summary:**

The Accounts Payable Specialist/Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions and payroll activities. This position requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

• **Accounts Payable:**
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and manual checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• **Payroll:**
• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established payroll schedules.
• Verify and enter employee time data, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports for management.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• **Documentation and Recordkeeping:**
• Maintain organized and accurate records for accounts payable and payroll transactions.
• Ensure all documentation is in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Assist in the development and improvement of accounts payable and payroll processes.
  
  

**Qualifications:**

• Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
