Job Description
OrthoGeorgia is seeking an Orthopaedic Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to work with a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeons. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will assist the physician in office and hospital settings, independent clinics seeing patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and illnesses, assisting in the operating room as needed, and performing emergency room and hospital consultations. Candidates should be flexible and have a strong desire to work both independently and as a team member. Excellent assessment skills and a strong work ethic are required. This position requires:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
