Product Manager

Our client is seeking a talented Product Manager for our client in the consumer electronics hardware industry, who is experienced in product management with a focus on new products while closely interfacing with our client’s R&D scientists. This role is ONSITE and based in Phoenix, AZ.

As the Product Manager, you will research the status of industry products, market trends and conduct competitive analysis. This role will provide subject matter expertise in all areas including detailed product management, lead critical-to- business products, serve as a vital coach in helping the organization successfully plan and launch products.

Job Requirements:

• Manages multiple products in a rapidly changing environment to ensure project results while meeting requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, cost, and technical.
• Manage hardware products throughout their lifecycle from planning to execution, including managing the delicate balances between specifications, timelines, and costs.
• Set the long-term vision and strategy for the company's products.
• Responsible for defining feature requirements and the desired user experience.
• Establishes project strategy, executes the plan and measures results.
• Work closely with engineering on the technical specifications and ensure that cross-functional teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.
• Responsible for making decisions regarding the appropriate risk when there is substantial program impact.
• Supports and reinforces all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
• Manages and monitors project execution to understand, communicate and address changing project needs.
• Responsible for the completion of assigned projects at or ahead of the target dates defined in the project plans.
• Lead technical activities to assist advancement of multiple projects concurrently through the product development process.
• Lead project teams through all phases of new product development and new technology rollouts; prepare ongoing plant leadership team with appropriate training to deliver at stated production levels.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a plus
• Over 5 years of experience in consumer electronics hardware products research and development
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and solve complex problems
• High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency while working on projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to clearly communicate and influence at senior leadership levels, as well as with project teams
• MS project experience or similar project management software experience

Compensation: $110,000-160,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits
