We are a leading multi brand fashion house seeking an assistant production manager to manage all development and production for the company.
You will be assisting with managing our production department and working overseas factories to facilitate sample development, send comments and revisions on samples, create purchase orders to factories, order trims and materials, as well as work with forwarders and our warehouses to follow incoming shipments into our distribution centers.
- 2 years minimum experience required working in fashion production and development
- Must be Microsoft excel expert
-Must be experienced working with overseas factories and freight forwarders
- Experience using A2000 ERP system is a MAJOR PLUS.
- Experience using Brandboom is a major plus.
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator and illustrator is a major plus
Responsibilities
- Sends tech packs and sample requests to factories
- Facilitates sourcing and costing with new vendors
- Creates weekly WIP reports for factories to chase all development
- Creates styles ERP system.
- Works with design department to send comments on samples to factories
- Orders salesman samples
- Negotiates prices with factories
- Issues purchase orders to factories, order trims and all production materials
- Follows up with factories on production and maintains T&A calendar
-Work with forwarders and warehouses to get freight and cargo shipments delivered into warehouses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
