Position Summary: The Production Temporary Worker shares in the responsibility of the upkeep of the facility with tasks. This will include routine equipment, table, floor, wall and other surface cleaning; basic equipment maintenance; overall facility maintenance (e.g., garbage collection and disposal) Key Responsibilities: • Validate and document lot codes and expiration dates of all required per each batch ticket. • Follow all safety, quality and material handling procedures at all times. • Flawlessly execute product quality assurance processes as assigned. • Adhere to the safe and proper operation of the various production equipment, including but not limited to, the mixer, sifter, hopper, can sealer, can labeler, pouching machine, Videojet lot coding machine, etc. • Demonstrate 100% understanding of and compliance to all cleaning and equipment maintenance requirements. • Follow all required procedures to minimize exposure of finished product to the environment. • Efficiently and safely pack finished product into cases (or bottles) and apply tape, labels and shippers per standard procedures and in quantities declared on the batch ticket. • Visually inspect finished product, set aside any product thought to be non-compliant with quality standards or batch ticket specifications; notify a supervisor immediately of any issues. • Obtain Quality Manager/Production Supervisor Manager approval for packaging before releasing product to Shipping department. • Other duties as assigned. • Understand and Perform all Quality and Food Safety responsibilities in compliance with Danone PRP and FSSC 22000 requirements. • Take part in all relevant training sessions related to the job responsibilities. • Report any deviations from Quality, Food Safety, Security and Safety to your supervisor a Manager. • Effectively build shipping boxes and palletize loads to ensure the safe delivery of all shipments • Knowledge and experience in the use of warehouse equipment to include a power jack or similar type of machinery (PIT's). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Supervisory responsibilities: No direct reports. Working conditions: Work is conducted in a manufacturing/packaging environment. Overtime may be required. There is some lifting of products not to exceed 30 lbs.
