What you will do:

As our Project Coordinator, you will help the Sales and Operations team facilitate projects through the engineering and manufacturing life cycle to ensure they are completed on time and within budget so that we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations for our products that help control and monitor one of the world’s most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position works in our Plymouth, MN location.

The Job

Every day, your primary role will be communicating with our external customers. These customers can be part of our rep network, consulting engineers, or electrical general contractors. During these conversations, through email or phone, you’ll be discussing the projects technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables along with issuing change orders and resolving any problems. You will monitor production progress against project milestones and timelines.

The Skills You Need

To succeed in this role, you must have manufacturing knowledge and enjoy communicating with our customers and internal team. You must be comfortable with writing detailed emails and having difficult conversations to negotiate agreeable outcomes. You must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines. The projects can span 6-9 months in duration. Other skills you should have:

  • A talent for anticipating and solving problems and managing resources with a sense of urgency
  • Automation, system integration and/or electrical controls knowledge
  • Prior work experience as a Project Coordinator, Associate Project Manager, Project Manager, General Contractor, Consulting Engineer or similar
  • A 4-year degree is preferred
  • PMP certification a plus
