What We Are Looking For

We're seeking a Public Relations intern with a knack for effective communication and a passion for storytelling. This role involves working closely with our public relations team in Los Angeles (in person) and across all offices (virtually), to support various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing our client’s reputation and visibility across diverse media channels.

Public Relations Intern

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in tracking and reporting earned media coverage to gauge campaign effectiveness.
  • Translate written materials from English to Spanish and vice versa to ensure effective communication with our bilingual audience.
  • Collaborate with the PR team to develop and execute strategic communication plans.
  • Help in crafting compelling narratives and messaging for press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.
  • Monitor news cycles and media trends to identify opportunities for brand exposure and engagement.
  • Support administrative tasks related to media outreach, including maintaining media lists and coordinating press materials.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Available to work up to 28 hours per week at California minimum wage.
  • Proactive with a strong interest in learning about different sectors at the private and public levels
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Openness to learning new skills from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Familiarity with different types of media, including legacy and digital platforms.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to various company initiatives.
