Job Title : QA Automation Engineer - Cypress

Location : Rhode Island or Remote

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer - Cypress who will be responsible for identifying and testing detailed business design requirements, ensuring appropriate test coverage for each requirement. This role involves developing comprehensive test plans that encompass all identified testing requirements and maintaining detailed test cases across various testing phases including component/assembly, integration, system, security, control, online help, user interface, conversion, and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of extensive testing experience with web applications.
• Testing experience with GraphQL APIs.
• Proven experience in Cypress, C#, and Test Automation.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain specific test cases, test data, processes, and results documentation for various testing phases.
• Execute manual and automated functional tests, report results, and track defects, collaborating with developers to isolate and resolve issues.
• Validate functionality across system releases and develop automated test scripts as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with test plans and procedures, track project artifacts, and mentor IS personnel on QA best practices.
• Support load, stress, performance, and reliability testing efforts, including associated analysis.
• Configure and maintain test environments, implement automated testing tools and perform system audits to ensure software versions are controlled.
• Facilitate communication among project teams and stakeholders to ensure visibility and understanding of QA efforts.
