Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reverse logistics management or a similar role.
  • Experience in product flows, inventory management, audit, quality control would be a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of reverse logistics processes, flows, and techniques.
  • Proven track record of meeting cost-efficiency targets in reverse logistics operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technologies used in reverse logistics.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated and driven by a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Creative and innovative mindset to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on meeting customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee creation and set up of internal and/or 3rd party reverse logistics as and when required.
  • Oversee and coordinate reverse logistics operations for customer returns, including product inspection, testing, and disposition.
  • Analyze and identify trends in customer returns to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement returns management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to reverse logistics.
  • Manage relationships with shippers, vendors, and service providers to negotiate cost-effective solutions and improve service quality.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to optimize reverse logistics processes and reduce costs.
  • Generate management reports on reverse logistics activities, including return rates, turnaround time, and cost analysis.
  • Maintain technical proficiency with relevant software and technology used in reverse logistics operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in reverse logistics
  • Manage reverse logistics team
